This is a common tactic used by the home biz scam artist. Something like this only takes a minute to put on a site. It is designed to give some credibility to them. They get away with it legally because they just say that their site is posted on those search engines and it would be difficult to really prove otherwise.
I have, as I'm sure have you, seen this commercial on free credit report dot com. THERE IS NOTHING FREE ABOUT THIS! I went there to check it out and I left fired up. So I took out my pen and you are now reading the results. YOU HAVE TO ENROL IN THEIR REDICULOUS PROGRAM FIRST!
Any way, if you want to find out your credit score, it does cost money. Don't give it to these scam artists. Just go to one of the main credit bureaus directly. Wow, what a joke.
